Dance With Suraya and the fight against Dementia

 

Every year we put on a show in aid of a charity, and every year we get bigger and better!!!

This year we will be doing this event for Alzheimer Scotland.

Did you know that Dance can cut your chances of getting dementia by 87%!

In a study that lasted two decades, researchers followed nearly 500 people who made dancing their only regular physical activity. The researchers found people who danced more, 3 or 4 days a week, had less risk of developing dementia over the study period than people who danced once a week or less. The researchers believe that the increased blood flow to the brain may offer protections against brain diseases.
